Ling-Huei holds a doctorate in Marriage and Family Counseling from Denver Seminary. She has also studied at Grace Theological Seminary [mDiv, 1998], Capital Bible Seminary [mA, 1989] and National Central University [BS, 1979]. In 2008 she is licensed in Taiwan as a counseling psychologist.
Ling-Huei grew up in Taiwan, and has lived many years in North America and South America. She is multicultural and multilingual. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Taiwanese, English, and Spanish.
Dr. Hui-Shiang Chao grew up in Taiwan and worked in Christian ministry in Taipei County for 3 years. She graduated with an MDiv from China Evangelical Seminary in 1995. She then had the opportunity to study in Colorado, where she received her MA in Counseling Ministry from Denver Seminary in 1999 and PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of Northern Colorado in 2005. She was licensed as a professional counselor in Colorado from 2005-2009. In 2009 she is licensed in Taiwan as a professional counselor.
Dr. Hui-Shiang Chao provides counseling for individual issues, such as self image, emotional problems, family of origin, addictive behaviors, etc. She is also trained to assist couples and families with a system point of view. She has a particular interest in integrating psychological and spiritual views to offer help for people in need. She is available to provide care in Mandarin Chinese and English.
Daniel Yang was born and raised in Taiwan. He graduated from Long Island University, New York with a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling in 1999. He is licensed in Taiwan as a counseling psychologist (2004). He has a particular interest in helping individuals with depression and/or anxiety problems, and also couples with marriage and family distress.
Daniel has also provided marriage counseling and student counseling through various social welfare organizations such as the Child Welfare League Foundation and Prison Fellowship Taiwan. He has taught Pastoral Counseling courses and provided supervision at seminaries, including The Methodist Graduate School of Theology, LLPM Theological Seminary, and China Lutheran Seminary.
Daniel is married and has a 4 year old daughter. He is available to provide care in Mandarin Chinese, Taiwanese, and English.
Chen Chen holds a Master of Arts in Psychological Studies (M.A.) and Marriage and Family Therapy (Ed.S.) from Seton Hall University in New Jersey (2004) and a bachelor’s degree from Taiwan Theological College and Seminary (1995). She is licensed in Taiwan as a counseling psychologist (2010).
Chen Chen is trained as a Marriage and Family Therapist and she has particular interest in helping people who suffer from sexual abuse, incest and grief. She is available to provide care in Mandarin, Taiwanese and English.
Michael graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University, USA with a Master of Sciences [M.S.] in Marriage and Family Counseling [2002]. He also holds a Master of Divinity degree [MDiv] from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, USA [1991] and a B.S. in Psychology from Oklahoma State University [1984].
Michael is a Clinical Member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapists [AAMFT] and the Taiwan Association for Marriage and Family Counselors [TAMFC]. Michael is also an AAMFT Approved Supervisor and he is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Oklahoma in the United States.
Michael and his wife Sharon have served in international ministry in Taiwan since 1992 where they work primarily to support local church leaders in developing new work. They have two children.
Michael is available to counsel in English and Chinese [Mandarin].
