Counseling In The Chinese World
Hong Kong, 2012 March 12 – 16

Latest News

CCW 2012 will be held in Hong Kong. We will start on March 12 (Monday) with dinner and finish on March 16 (Friday) with breakfast. This year, we have reserved a peaceful & private resort in a rural setting so that participants can get away from the urban hotel environment.

Consultation & Participant

The purpose of the consultation is to provide a learning and educational forum for counselors. Participants can network, exchange ideas, learn from and share with each other experiences in ministry. It will also provide mutual encouragement, personal refreshment and professional development.

CCW is designed for counselors, therapists, social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists and member-care professionals who speak English or Chinese. The consultation will focus on the interests and concerns of those actively providing care & counseling in the Chinese world. Participation is strictly by invitation only.

Invitation

To better attend to security in international settings and with such a diverse group as we represent, attending our consultations requires two simple steps: invitation and registration.

Once you have completed the invitation step, we will send you details about the consultation (and future consultations) in confidence. Everyone who participates in a consultation has been through the same invitation process. (It's not a competition, so don't feel you need to attach a resume – we just want to know who you are, and to verify that if we don't already know you. This helps us create a safe consultation and also to know the backgrounds of those who may come as we plan.)

Most of our documents are available in both Chinese and English. Either language is fine for your responses. For convenience, please give us an English / Romanization name.

Registration

Registration fee for Double Occupancy is US$400 including 4 night’s hotel and all meals (Monday dinner through Friday breakfast), $520 for Single Occupancy and $250 for Local Commuters .

Please plan to arrive by 2 pm on March 12 and Leave after breakfast on March 16.

Conference registration form will soon be emailed to those invited. The conference is sponsored by Center for Counseling and Growth (Taiwan), Glory Foundation (California) ,and We Care Center (Hong Kong). For more information, please contact Judi Chow, Rudolf Mak, or Steve Spinella at
