Let the Nations Be Glad!: The Supremacy of God in Missions by John PiperIn this sequel to The Supremacy of God in Preaching, John Piper uses texts from both the Old and New Testaments to show that worship is the ultimate goal of the church, and that proper worship
fuels missions. In doing so he takes us away from a view of missions as just an additional ministry of the church to show that missions is essential to the church as it comes from the heart of God and is the goal of every believer. The author addresses the role of prayer, universalism and annihilationism, the incentives of sovereign grace for
world evangelization, and the taks of reaching unreached peoples. This book should be essential reading for pastors, missions committe leaders, and all Christians.

Breaking the DaVinci Code: Answers to the Questions Everybody's Asking by Darrell BockMany who have read the New York Times best-seller The da Vinci Code have questions that arise from seven codes—expressed or implied—in Dan Brown’s book. In Breaking the da Vinci Code, Darrell Bock, Ph.D., responds to the novelist’s claims using central ancient texts. Darrell Bock’s research uncovers the origins of these codes by focusing on the 325 years immediately following the birth of Christ, for the claims of The da Vinci Code rise or fall on the basis of things emerging from this period. Breaking the da Vinci Code distinguishes fictitious entertainment from historical elements of the Christian faith. For by seeing these differences, one can break the da Vinci code. Breaking the da Vinci Code will lead readers to discover why this novel has become something of a public phenomenon and why the issues it raises are worthy of careful study and reflection. The Wall Street Journal called this "the best of the bunch" when it comes to books about The DaVinci Code.

Jesus According to Scripture: Restoring the Portrait from the Gospels by Darrell BockDarrell Bock is a well-known expert in the Gospels, and in Jesus according to Scripture he provides a detailed analysis of the portrait of Jesus from each Gospel as well as a theological synthesis of Jesus message and import as the Gospels portray him. Here we have a much more fulsome and helpful portrait of Jesus than is offered in many recent treatments of the historical Jesus. Highly recommended. –Ben Witherington III, Asbury Theological Seminary

What's So Amazing About Grace by Philip Yancey Award-winning author Philip Yancey has a way of toppling convention and getting at the truth. In What's So Amazing About Grace, he turns his gift for inquiry to that most basic of all Christian tenets-grace. Grace is the church's great gift to the world, says Yancey. But do Christians really understand grace-and if we do, then why do we experience and show so little of it Yancey sets grace in the midst of life's stark, often brutal realities to help readers discover the power of God's unrelenting love for sinners. This study guide will help readers apply the discoveries and challenges contained in Yancey's most personal book.
