Heinsman ministry and family

Ron and Julie Heinsman have been missionaries with TEAM in Taiwan since 1995.

Ron serves as the director of Trailblazer Camps, a youth camping ministry that helps the Taiwan church reach young people for Christ and train them to serve Him. Trailblazer Camps develops and runs camping, training, internship and outreach programs in order to strengthen the church, broaden its vision and provide leaders for the future. In addition to its programming, Trailblazer Camps has a long-term vision to purchase a new piece of land and build a new camp facility in order to better support the ministry development.

Julie serves as a high school counselor and Bible teacher at Morrison Academy, a school for missionary children with about 450 students at the main campus in Taichung. In addition to missionary kids, many of the students are children of business people holding foreign passports, providing Morrison staff a unique opportunity for evangelism and discipleship. Julie also enjoys coaching track and basketball.

Ron and Julie were married on May 28, 1983, and have two adult children, Mark (June 17, 1988) and Teri (March 12, 1990). The Heinsmans are members of The Bridge Community Church in Des Plaines, IL. Other churches who are partners with the Heinsmans include: Christian Bible Church, Cissna Park, IL; Grabill Missionary Church, Grabill, IN; Grace Church, Mooresville, IN; Jonestown United Methodist Church, Jonestown, PA.
