TEAM Housing Maintenance Policy

Each missionary should arrange for their own routine housing maintenance up to NT$ 10,000.

Any repair over NT$ 5000 needs the approval of the Area Housing Maintenance Supervisor. Any repair over NT$ 10,000 also needs the Administrative Committee’s approval.

When the missionary has questions or needs help, they should contact the Area Housing Maintenance Supervisor. The Supervisor will attempt to maintain a list of reputable repairmen to recommend if needed.

Routine maintenance, unsolicited repair suggestions from a repairman, and other questionable or non-essential  items should also be discussed with the Area Housing Maintenance Supervisor.

The Area Housing Maintenance Supervisor should not be expected to supervise small projects (under NT$10,000), but can be consulted about questions you may have. The Area Housing Maintenance Supervisor will arrange for larger projects.

Residents of rented housing (TEAMmates renting non-TEAM owned housing) should first consult with their landlord. If the landlord is unwilling to make repairs, please consult the Taipei Office Administrator for approval to make repairs from the Housing Fund.

Notes:

1.     Please complete 3 copies of this form.

2.     Retain one copy for your records, A second copy will be kept by the Area Housing Maintenance Supervisor for projects over NT$5000. Remember, the Administrative Committee  must also approve of repairs in excess of NT$10,000.
