Here are some of the support ministries that TEAM is involved with in Taiwan.

Trailblazer Camps (formerly Iron Mountain Gospel Camp)
Iron Mountain Gospel Camp was begun by TEAM, and is presently located near Tachia. Now called Trailblazer Camps, it has just received approval to purchase a larger and more suitable site to expand this ministry, though we’re still searching for a suitable parcel of land. The ministry wants to expand camping in Taiwan beyond just the traditional model, toward a more natural model of counseling based camping and experiential learning in order to build leaders for the church tomorrow. To complete this will be a major task and will require about US$ 3.5 million in donations. Camp E-mail

Logefeil Memorial Hospital (Taitung Christian Hospital)
Recognizing the tremendous needs of the aboriginal tribes on the east coast, TEAM founded the Logefeil Memorial Hospital (known simply as the Taitung Christian Hospital in Chinese) in Taitung more than 30 years ago. Today the hospital is operating as an independent corporate body.

TEAM Radio China
Since the Mission had its beginnings in China, and since the field was started by missionaries who were forced to leave China after the Communist rebellion, TEAM began recording radio broadcasts to the Mainland soon after arriving here. A few years ago, TEAM Radio China merged its operations with the Taiwan branch of the Far Eastern Broadcasting Company to form the Far Eastern Evangelistic Association.

China Evangelical Seminary
TEAM was also instrumental in the founding of the China Evangelical Seminary and remains a part of the board. TEAM donated the property for CES's campus in downtown Taipei. Today CES is the premier independent graduate level institution for training Christian workers in Taiwan.

Morrison Christian Association
TEAM was one of four Missions that founded the Morrison Christian Association. MCA operates Morrison Academy, which is a school for teaching the children of missionaries serving in Taiwan and has campuses in Taipei, Taichung, Kaohsiung and Chiayi.

Precept Ministries
TEAM has also been instrumental in bringing Precept Ministries to Taiwan. Precept is a ministry promoting inductive Bible study among Chinese churches. One of our missionaries, Nancy Leet is currently the director of Precept Taiwan.

Door of Hope
The Door of Hope was started as an orphanage for girls in Shanghai but later moved to Taiwan. The orphanage itself was closed in 1977 but the ministry to its former residents continues.

Center for Counseling and Growth
TEAM was among the missions who supported the founding of the Center for Counseling and Growth in Taichung. The Center’s primary focus was to provide support and counseling to missionaries in Taiwan to allow missionaries to be able to stay in ministry even through times of struggle. However, it also provides counseling to other expatriates and, through some trained national coworkers, also to Chinese. One of our missionaries, Steve Spinella, is the director of the CCG.
